a very successful, publicly-traded maker of semiconductors.
Responsibilities
A key member of the Corporate Communications team, the Public Relations
Manager will participate in the development of the overall communications strategy
and tactical plans for each campaign. As a seasoned PR professional and creative
thinker, consistently apply innovative approaches to increasing awareness of the
company, its value propositions and market successes. Must possess strong relationship-building
skills and be able to facilitate communications between the public relations,
investor relations, product marketing, and sales in order to maintain message
excellence and consistency. Oversee the planning and budgeting for PR as well
as manage the relationship and activities of the company's PR agency in North
America and Europe. -- Provide
strategic direction for PR activities and corporate positioning.
-- Manage
PR agency and consultant resources
-- Develop and extend strong media and
analyst relationships.
-- Plan and develop PR related materials (including
press releases, backgrounders, PR plans, etc.); manage the approval and release
process.
-- Speech and presentation writing for all President, VP and director
level executives in North America and Europe
-- Assist in the development
and approval of technical and business power point presentations at all venues
in North America and Europe
-- Manage the implementation and operation of
PR programs (e.g., announcements, speakers bureau, industry analyst briefings,
press tours)
-- Help drive social media programs.
-- Monitor industry and
PR trends and adopt best practices in a timely manner. Qualifications
-- 8-15+ years of overall PR experience in semiconductor or related tech industry.
-- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
