a successful, publicly-traded provider of enterprise and consumer software.
Responsibilities
-- Identify and test new online marketing opportunities including email,
behavioral targeting, co-registration, viral efforts, social networks, affiliate
marketing and other key areas -- Provide in-depth reporting and analysis of
marketing program performance -- Work with senior management to seek out and
develop new markets and strategies -- Drive online acquisition initiatives
to meet traffic and registered user targets through SEM (search engine marketing),
email, and display ads -- Work with marketing team to conceptualize, execute,
measure and optimize retention initiatives through email, newsletters, and cross-promotional
house ads -- Partner Sales: Enlist, manage and grow the worldwide online partner
business including affiliates, resellers and various types of promotional marketing
partners. -- Full campaign management: conceptualize campaigns, work with design
team to create landing pages and other copy, launch, test, optimize and report
on campaign performance -- Drive campaign profitability by actively testing,
analyzing and optimizing relevant campaign components: keywords, keyword costs,
ad copy, title and descriptions, email creative, ad creative and landing pages --
Drive negotiation and implementation of media buys on content sites -- Conduct
competitive research and monitor campaign initiatives and performance -- Analyze
customer database to develop customer segmentations and marketing program recommendations
Qualifications
-- 7+ years total marketing experience and 3+ years online consumer marketing
experience, including acquisition and retention (database marketing a plus) --
Broad understanding of online marketing tactics with experience in display advertising,
email marketing, SEM and viral marketing. -- Metric focused with attention
to detail. -- Strong analytic skills, and experience with website analytics,
campaign tracking and ROI-driven optimization -- Knowledge and experience with
best practices in SEM, email messaging, spam regulations, email technology, delivery
mechanisms, service providers and list management -- Experience negotiating
and executing CPA, CPC, CPM, and other acquisition models -- Ability to write
online copy, including call to action messaging
Education
Bachelor's degree required, MBA desired.
